Castelo Suites is located in Sesmarias, one of the most exclusive and quiet areas of Albufeira, offering a calm refuge away from nightlife hustle and bustle, but just a few minutes from the city center and beaches.
How far is Castelo Suites from the beaches on foot?
Castelo Suites is only 15 minutes walk from some of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve, including Praia do Castelo and Praia do Evaristo.
What are the best beaches near Sesmarias in Albufeira?
The best beaches within a short distance of Castelo Suites in Sesmarias are Praia do Castelo, Praia do Coelha and Praia do Evaristo.
Access and transport
What is the best way to get to the hotel by public transport?
From Faro Airport (approx. 45 km): The most practical and direct way to reach the hotel is through the transfer service provided by the hotel itself (subject to an additional fee). Alternatively, taxi and TVDE services (such as Uber or Bolt) are quite accessible from the airport.
Via Bus Terminal or Train: If you travel by express bus to Albufeira Bus Terminal or by train to Ferreiras Train Station, the best option for the final leg of your journey is to take a taxi or TVDE. You can also use Albufeira's local urban bus network (VAMUS), which has lines serving the Sesmarias/Galé area.
Where can I park my car?
Castelo Suites offers excellent parking facilities for guests, with approximately 46 spaces in total, including free outdoor parking and private underground garage, available for an additional daily cost.
There is also free public parking around the area.
I have an electric car - where can I charge it?
The hotel is equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles on its premises for guest convenience. We have fast and normal charging, with additional cost.
Additionally, if you need to charge your vehicle while exploring the Albufeira region, there are several public charging stations nearby:
EDP Charge charging station: Located a few minutes away on Estrada da Praia da Coelha, it has 2 type 2 connectors (up to 22 kW).
EDP Charge charging station: Located on nearby Estrada da Galé, with 24-hour charging service and type 2 connector.

Does the hotel have an elevator?
Yes, the facilities have elevators that ensure comfortable access to the upper floors.
What are the breakfast hours?
The buffet breakfast is served daily between 7:30 am - 10:30 am
Does the hotel have a restaurant? If so, what are the hours?
Yes. The hotel has an excellent main buffet-style restaurant (focusing on international and regional cuisine, with a show cooking section) and a terrace. They serve breakfast in the morning and dinner meals. Buffet is depending on hotel occupancy, as it can also be Set Menu, either for breakfast or dinner. The menu is thematic and changes every day of the week. Dinner is open from 6:30 pm to 10 pm. We also have snacks for lunch.
Does the hotel have a bar? If so, what are the hours?
Yes, the hotel offers multiple options: you have at your disposal a Pool Bar, Rooftop Bar and Lobby Bar:
- Pool Bar 10:30 am - 6 pm
- Rooftop Bar "Horizon Skybar" 11 am - 7:30 pm, seasonal from April to October, for ages 16 and over
- Lobby Bar "Terracotta Lounge" 6 pm - midnight
Does Castelo Suites have room service?
Yes, for an additional fee. Available from 7:30 am - 11 pm
Does Castelo Suites have a pool? What are the hours?
The hotel has three wonderful pools:
- Main Pool with 2 water features, one of which is the children's pool from 9 am - 7 pm
- Rooftop Infinity Pool from 9 am - 7 pm
- Heated indoor pool in the Spa, for ages 18 and over from 10 am - 7 pm
Is there a children's pool at the hotel?
Children can only freely use the outdoor pool
Does Castelo Suites have Wellness & Spa?
Yes. Guests can enjoy the Slow Living Spa, a space dedicated to deep relaxation, equipped with therapeutic and wellness massage services. We also have sauna, infrared sauna, and cold bath
Does Castelo Suites have a gym?
Yes, the hotel is equipped with a fitness center so you can maintain your exercise routine during your stay, open from 8 am - 10 pm
Does Castelo Suites have a meeting room or workspace?
Yes, the complex has a meeting room and Business Center facilities, suitable for events or for those who need to work in a focused environment and hold online meetings comfortably, for those who travel and work remotely.
A versatile room that can serve as one large room (Atlantico Room), or be divided into several room models, adaptable to your needs (Atlantico or Mediterraneo, Formosa, Falesia) with additional cost
Does the hotel have a laundry service?
Yes, there is a daily laundry and ironing service. This is a service provided for an additional fee.
Is it possible to request an iron to use in the room?
The iron must be requested at reception always, at no cost, for all rooms and suites
Can I rent a car through the hotel?
Yes. The reception (open 24 hours) offers logistical support to guests and can help you arrange car rentals.
Does the hotel organize transfer service?
Yes. Transfers to/from Faro Airport can be arranged. It is advisable to book this service in advance at the reception (additional fee applies).
Does the hotel have a wake-up call service?
Yes, guests can schedule a personalized wake-up call service directly at the reception.
Is it possible to send a package to the hotel?
Yes, you should indicate the room where you are staying in the shipping address, as well as notify the reception in advance that you will receive a package.
Rooms
Are there connecting rooms or family rooms?
Yes. The hotel offers quite spacious family suites (approximately 50 m²) that have two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms and 2 balconies. Family Suites guarantee connecting rooms, one next to the other, with an entrance to the private suite
How many rooms are there for people with reduced mobility?

Can I have an extra bed in my room?
We do not have extra beds, only cribs for babies up to 2 years of age
What is the room cleaning policy?
Daily, sheets and towels changed every 3 days
Are there bathrobes in the rooms?
Yes, guests have bathrobes, slippers and premium hygiene products available in the bathrooms. Permanent Suites (Premium Suite, Exclusive Terrace & Interior Garden, Castelo Suite Plunge Pool & Terrace) have these amenities upon arrival in the Room; in Rooms, Family Suite and Adults Only Suite we have them, but only upon guest request.
Are there rooms with a balcony?
All rooms and suites are equipped with furnished balcony or outdoor terrace (some of the higher typologies even include a huge terrace of more than 100 m² with a "Plunge Pool").

Are taxes included in the room price?
The displayed price already includes VAT. However, note that upon arrival you will be charged the Tourist Tax of the Municipality of Albufeira, applicable to all guests aged 13 or over (charged per night, not included in the online rate, maximum of 7 nights).
What is the check-in time? What is the check-out time?
Check-in takes place from 3:00 pm onwards. Check-out must be completed by 11:00 am at the latest.
Is it possible to do early check-in or late check-out?
Yes, you should leave the request/information with the reception; subject to availability on the actual day of arrival/departure
Do you have a luggage storage area for guests?
Yes, we have a safe place to store luggage free of charge
What is the hotel's policy regarding children?
The hotel is Family-Friendly, welcoming children of all ages (with family suites with plenty of space). However, in order to accommodate those seeking quiet holidays, the hotel defines room types and "Adults Only" areas.
Is smoking allowed in the hotel? What is the policy regarding electronic cigarettes?
Smoking is allowed outdoors, in designated areas
